Useful Plug-Ins for Wordpress Blogs

Jamie Zoch at DOTWeekly has a useful article where he lists the plug-ins he finds to be critical for all of his blogs:

You should go to his blog to see his detailed comments on each plug-in.

I myself would add to that list Wordpress.com Stats.
While Google Analytics provides in-depth information, often as a blogger, its either too much or not quite the information you need.  The Wordpress Stats plug-in gives you statistics that you care about.

Last, I recommend getting your own good domain name, and using ICDSoft for Web Hosting.  I have used ICDSoft for over five years now and I have never been happier with a service provider PERIOD.  They have 24-7 support, and usually resolve the issue within an hour.  Oftentimes, they have even fixed my code!
